Dr Ronnie Yap was awarded both the FAC Ohlers Gold Medal for Best Clinical Student and the University Silver Medal for the Best Student of that graduating year.

Dr Ronnie Yap is a former President of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and past President of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore. He was also previously an adjunct senior lecturer in the restorative dentistry department of the National University of Singapore.

He is currently a partner in a private group dental practice where he focuses on aesthetic and restorative dentistry, clear aligner therapy, management of TMJ problems and Airway Dentistry including jaw expansion (MARPE) and sleep appliances.

He has been an Invisalign Platinum Elite Provider since 2011. 
Dr Ronnie is on the expert panel of the MiCD (Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry) Global Network and has lectured extensively in Asia including in Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Korea and almost all of South East Asia on the topic of aesthetic dentistry

He is the Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), the International College of Dentists (FICD),  Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). The Diplomate of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (GDPRCS). A member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) – explicitly dedicated to cosmetic dentistry.  Dr Ronnie Yap is also the Director for Aesthetics & Digital Dentistry Academy (ADDA).

In addition, he has a keen interest in nutrition, exercise and health. He is happily married with 2 adult children.
