Dr. Lim has a genuine heart for his patients; he is a firm believer in taking a holistic approach to aesthetic dentistry, focusing on not only restoring the functional capabilities of the patient, but going one step further to enhance and balance the appearance of the patient’s smile and face.

This belief drove his interest in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry, motivating him to pursue advanced neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry training at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry (LVI Global), Occlusion Connections (OC), and Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA). The extensive experience and skill afforded to him through years of advanced aesthetic training has helped improve the quality of life for many of his clients.

Dr. Lim is recognized as a leading aesthetic dental practitioner in Singapore and regularly gets invited to share his expertise with the dental community in Singapore and overseas. He is currently adjunct lecturer at his alma mater National University of Singapore, and was past President of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore.

Outside of work, Dr. Lim loves spending time with his wife and three children on family trips overseas. He is also an avid fan for Manchester United Football Club.


Dr Ronnie Yap was awarded both the FAC Ohlers Gold Medal for Best Clinical Student, and the University Silver Medal for the Best Student of that graduating year.

Dr. Ronnie Yap has honed his skills in the area of aesthetic dentistry, to the delight of many patients who have left his care with stunning new smiles.

In the field of invisible braces, such as Invisalign, Dr. Yap is an expert in Singapore. In fact, he has treated over 500 patients with Invisalign technology, and he co-founded the first dedicated Invisalign clinic in Asia. His passion for smile makeovers and his skill with aesthetic dentistry inspired the organisers of the Miss Universe Singapore Pageant to draw on his talents. Since 2009, he has served as one of the official dentists for the pageant.

Dr. Yap enjoys exploring new advances in dental technology, as well as the discovery of new techniques and systems for more efficient dental care. His eagerness to share his knowledge overflows through his service as an instructor for the Advanced Digital Dentistry Academy.

Today, Dr. Ronnie Yap serves as an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. In the past, he held the position of President of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore. Currently, he also stands as President-Elect of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He travels widely, lecturing in countries such as the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

When he isn’t lecturing or transforming a crooked smile into a beautiful one, Dr. Yap likes to travel, do a little stand-up paddling, or relax with friends and family.


Dr Tan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2007.

Thanks to ample experience in several fields of dentistry, Dr. Tan is a versatile dentist whose skills benefit patients throughout Singapore.

Dr. Tan has a clinical interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, and he enjoys correcting malocclusions with the use of modern methods such as Invisalign. In fact, during 2014, Dr. Tan received the distinguished status of Platinum provider with Invisalign. His status rose to Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider in 2015, after he successfully treated over 81 patients with Invisalign in one year. In 2016, he was again awarded for being a Platinum provider with Invisalign.

A strong belief in the old saying that “prevention is better than a cure” inspired Dr. Tan to spearhead the Minimal Intervention Program at the National Dental Center, with the help of other pioneering dentists. He ensures that his patients are always fully informed before he begins any type of treatment. In addition, Dr. Tan promotes the idea that all children should be assessed by an orthodontist by age 7, as part of an Interceptive Orthodontics initiative.

In 2006, Dr. Tan participated in the University of North Carolina’s student exchange program in the United States. The following year, Dr. Tan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He served at the National Dental Center for a time, as well as teaching Nitec in Dental Assisting for groups of dental assistants. His career repertoire includes serving as committee member for the International Dental Exhibition Meet in 2006 and 2008, plus a stint as a committee member at the FDI Annual World Dental Congress in 2009. Dr. Tan continues to boost his effectiveness as a holistic dentist by expanding his knowledge and training through courses overseas and in Singapore.

Currently, Dr. Tan holds a membership in the Singapore Dental Association. In 2007, he functioned as a core member in the ethics department, and during the two following years he served an important role in the area of oral health awareness. His memberships in the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the College of General Dental Practitioners in Singapore, and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore allow him to extend his positive influence for the oral health of Singapore residents.


Dr Kelvin Chua comes into Orchard Scotts Dental as a leading dentist of his generation.

Recognised as a dentist on the cutting edge of his generation, Dr. Kelvin Chua lends his skills to the team at Orchard Scotts Dental.

Dr Chua believes in taking the time to listen to patients to thoroughly understand their concerns, and to help them comprehend their conditions. He explains treatment carefully and helps his patients feel comfortable and secure during their treatment.

One of Dr Chua’s main interests is s managing and resolving issues like square jaw and gummy smile in his patients. He obtained a Certificate of Competency for botulinum toxin, and associate fellowship from the World Clinical Laser Institute and Standard Proficiency from Academy of Laser Dentistry. He was an organising chairperson for a Laser Symposium held in Singapore.

Dr Chua regularly attends various international and local courses, seeking to acquire skills on the latest development in dentistry. As an Invisalign enthusiast, extensively attends courses on revolutionary clear aligners. He also also attended posterior direct restoration and Same- Day ceramic crown at Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA) in United States. Dr Chua is also trainer for Denstply Sirona on the topic of direct restoration.

When he has time off from dentistry, Dr Chua likes to cycle or swim or simply spend time with his family that now includes 3 children. As a wine enthusiast, he enjoys of company of wine with his friends after a game of tennis.
