Dr. Jerry Lim has a genuine heart for his patients and is a firm believer in taking a holistic approach to aesthetic dentistry, focusing on not only restoring the functional capabilities of the patient, but going one step further to enhance and balance the appearance of the patient’s smile and face.
Since 2000, Dr. Jerry Lim’s interest in aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry has led him to attend training at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry (LVI Global), Occlusion Connections (OC), and Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA). The experience and skill afforded to him through years of aesthetic training has helped improve the quality of life for many.
Dr. Lim has been invited to present his work on Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry in Singapore and overseas. He is currently part-time tutor at his alma mater National University of Singapore, and was past President of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore. He is also co-founder of ADDA (The Aesthetics & Digital Dentistry Academy) which provides education and training for dentists.
Dr Ronnie Yap was awarded both the FAC Ohlers Gold Medal for Best Clinical Student, and the University Silver Medal for the Best Student of that graduating year.
Dr Ronnie YAP is the past President of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore. He is also adjunct senior lecturer in the restorative dentistry department of the National University of Singapore. Dr Ronnie is also a partner in a private group dental practice where half his time is spent on clear orthodontic aligner therapy for adult patients and the other half on aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr Ronnie is also co-founder of the Aesthetic and Digital Dentistry Academy which provides training courses for dentist with live patient courses, hands-on and demonstrations. He is an Instructor with the MiCD (Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry) Academy and has lectured in Asia on the topic of aesthetic dentistry and has a keen interest in nutrition and sports.
Dr Tan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2007.
Dr. Tan has a clinical interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, and he enjoys correcting malocclusions with the use of modern methods such as Invisalign.
A strong belief in the old saying that “prevention is better than a cure” inspired Dr. Tan to spearhead the Minimal Intervention Program at the National Dental Center. He ensures that his patients are always fully informed before he begins any type of treatment.
In 2006, Dr. Tan participated in the University of North Carolina’s student exchange program in the United States. The following year, Dr. Tan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He served at the National Dental Center, as well as teaching Nitec in Dental Assisting for groups of dental assistants. His career repertoire includes serving as committee member for the International Dental Exhibition Meet in 2006 and 2008, plus a stint as a committee member at the FDI Annual World Dental Congress in 2009. Dr. Tan continues to upgrade his skills as a holistic dentist by expanding his knowledge and training through courses overseas and in Singapore.
Currently, Dr. Tan holds a membership in the Singapore Dental Association. In 2007, he functioned as a core member in the ethics department, and during the two following years he served an important role in the area of oral health awareness. His memberships in the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the College of General Dental Practitioners in Singapore, and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore allow him to extend his positive influence for the oral health of his patients.
Dr Kelvin Chua believes in taking the time to listen to patients to thoroughly understand their concerns, and to help them comprehend their conditions.
He explains treatment carefully and helps his patients feel comfortable and secure during their treatment.
One of Dr Chua’s main interests is in managing and resolving issues like square jaw and gummy smile in his patients. He obtained a Certificate of Competency for botulinum toxin, and associate fellowship from the World Clinical Laser Institute and Standard Proficiency from Academy of Laser Dentistry. He was an organising chairperson for a Laser Symposium held in Singapore.
Dr Chua regularly attends various international and local courses, seeking to acquire skills and updates in dentistry. He has been an Invisalign provider since 2015 and constantly attends courses on clear aligner technology. He also attended posterior direct restoration and Same- Day ceramic crown at Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA) in United States. Dr Chua is a trainer for Denstply Sirona on the topic of direct restoration.
On top of enhancing smile, Dr Chua has lectured regionally on the topics of aesthetics dentistry like smile makeover using veneers and restoring teeth with composite or Same-Day ceramic crown. He lectured at the Asia-Pacific symposium on dental laser for aesthetics dentistry, sharing how he uses dental laser for his smile makeover and gummy smile cases.
He is currently serving as a council member for Singapore Dental Association.
When he has time off from dentistry, Dr Chua likes to cycle or swim or simply spend time with his family. As a wine enthusiast, he enjoys company of his friends over a bottle of wine.
