Alignment isn't just about straight teeth — it's about how the result enhances your smile. That understanding comes from transforming 4,200+ smiles and performing 3,500+ Invisalign cases since 2007.

True alignment looks beautiful, functions properly, and supports your long-term oral health.

Invisalign isn't just about straight teeth

Planning with facial aesthetics first creates results that go beyond straight teeth:

  • Analysing your facial proportions
  • Planning for lip support
  • Considering smile arc and width
  • Integrating function with aesthetics

This approach enhances facial proportions, improves lip support, and widens your smile to suit your features.

Less than 1% of our 3,500+ Invisalign cases required tooth extraction.

No extraction philosophy

Extraction isn't always necessary — and we prefer to avoid it. Why? We think your face looks better with your teeth in it. Fuller lips, better support.

Less than 20 of our 3,500+ Invisalign cases involved tooth extraction. That's under 1%.

How we do it

  • dr.ronnie yap holding practical course with student in view
    //

    Harness every alternative

    • Gentle slimming of teeth
    • Controlled forward movement
    • Widening the arch
    • Moving teeth backward

We exhaust reshaping, movement, and expansion before considering extraction.

  • Early alignment invisalign first orthodontic
    //

    Harness the body and aligners

Your jaw has natural capacity for expansion and bone remodelling — more flexibility than most people realise.

Modern aligners can do a lot: strategic attachments, elastics, precise staging. We push these capabilities before reaching for extraction.

  • Two dental professionals wearing masks and gloves performing a dental procedure on a patient in a clinic.
    //

    Harness 18+ years of experience

We've completed over 3,500 Invisalign cases and 4,200 smile transformations since 2007.

Experience tells us when extraction is genuinely necessary and when the alternatives serve better. In 99% of the cases we've seen, alternatives exist.

The result: straight teeth, improved function, and maintained facial support. Your smile doesn't just look aligned — it looks naturally full and proportionate.

Consult & Treatment Planning

Initial consultation

We discuss your concerns, goals, and take photos, iTero™ scans, X-rays. This assessment considers your teeth and how they relate to your facial structure.

3D digital simulation (ClinCheck)

We show you how teeth will move and what your final smile can look like. We review how movements affect facial aesthetics, lip support, smile proportions.

Treatment planning & Acceptance

We explain expected timeline, costs, commitment required. We answer all questions.

We will only proceed when you're 100% ready.

Treatment Start

Aligner collection

Around 4 weeks later, your aligners arrive.

Your treatment consultant guides you on wearing them and sets you up with the DentalMonitoring app for regular scans.

Active Treatment

Attachments

10 days after collecting aligners, you return for attachments — small tooth-coloured grips that help aligners move teeth effectively.

Ongoing Monitoring

Weekly photos and scans via the Dental Monitoring app. Our team reviews remotely and advises if in-person visits are needed. Digital monitoring plus practitioner oversight.

Post-Treatment

Treatment Completion

Once teeth reach ideal position, we review bite function, aesthetics, overall result.

Maintenance

Retainers

7–10 days later, you receive custom retainers to maintain your smile long-term.

Retainers protect your investment — teeth naturally want to shift back. We provide clear retention protocols and schedule regular reviews.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Invisalign cost in Singapore?

At OSD, Invisalign starts from $5,341 for Express cases and ranges up to $10,791 for complex full-arch treatment. Pricing depends on the number of aligners, case complexity, and whether additional procedures like attachments or IPR are needed.

We offer instalment plans and can walk you through the full cost breakdown during your consultation. WhatsApp our Concierge Manager, Joreen — she'll give you a realistic estimate based on your situation before you commit to anything.

Can I pay for Invisalign in instalments?

Yes. OSD offers instalment plans to spread the cost of treatment. Joreen, our Concierge Manager, can walk you through the available options during your consultation — WhatsApp her to discuss what works for your budget before committing.

Is Invisalign worth $5,000 or more?

It depends on what you're paying for. At lower price points, you may be getting a simpler case type (like Express or Lite) with fewer aligners and less clinical oversight.

At higher price points, you're typically getting comprehensive treatment — more aligners, longer monitoring, and a provider experienced enough to handle mid-course corrections.

At OSD, pricing reflects the full treatment journey: full diagnostics, aesthetics planning, and DentalMonitoring (remote tracking between visits). Across 3,500+ cases, we've found that the planning and monitoring matter more than the aligner count.

How is Invisalign different from braces?

Braces use fixed brackets and wires to move teeth. Invisalign uses a sequence of removable clear aligners. Both achieve the same clinical outcomes for most cases — the difference is in experience, aesthetics, and maintenance.

Invisalign aligners are removable (you eat and brush normally), virtually invisible, and generally involve fewer emergency visits. Braces may still be recommended for certain complex cases involving significant vertical movement or rotations.

At OSD, your dentist will recommend whichever system best suits your case — we offer both.

What is the difference between Invisalign and Zenyum?

Zenyum is a direct-to-consumer aligner brand designed for mild cosmetic cases — typically front-tooth crowding with minimal bite correction.

Invisalign is a clinician-directed system that handles everything from simple alignment to complex bite reconstruction.

The key differences are clinical oversight and case complexity. Zenyum cases are largely managed remotely with fewer in-person check-ins. Invisalign at OSD involves full diagnostic planning, regular progress monitoring through DentalMonitoring, and a dentist who can intervene if things aren't tracking as planned.

For mild cosmetic cases, both may produce acceptable results. For anything involving your bite, facial aesthetics, or long-term stability, the clinical infrastructure matters.

How long does Invisalign take?

Most cases: 12–18 months.

Simple corrections: 6–9 months.

Complex cases: up to 24 months.

Your timeline discussed during consultation.

Is it painful?

Mild pressure with each new aligner — normal and indicates movement.

Most describe it as discomfort rather than pain. Subsides within days. Significantly less painful than traditional braces.

Can I eat whatever I want?

Yes. Remove aligners for eating or drinking anything besides water. No food restrictions, no awkward restaurant moments.

Will people notice I'm wearing aligners?

Aligners are clear and discreet. Most people won't notice in normal conversation. Attachments are visible up close but blend naturally.

Dramatically less noticeable than metal braces.

Do I need retainers afterwards?

Yes. Essential for maintaining results. Teeth naturally shift back. Consistent wear — initially full-time, then nights only — protects your investment.

Will alignment change my face shape?

It can — which is why we plan with facial aesthetics in mind.

Alignment affects lip support, facial proportions, smile width. Our approach considers these from the start — planning movement not just for straightness, but for how it integrates with your features.

This is why we assess your face during planning, not just your teeth in isolation.

Why does pricing vary between clinics?

Treatment approaches differ in planning depth, monitoring frequency, included refinements, post-treatment support.

Our approach involves comprehensive facial aesthetic planning, regular monitoring, refinements as needed, structured retention protocols. This level of consideration requires more time and depth of experience.

Whether that matters depends on what you value most.

What is a Black Diamond Invisalign provider?

Black Diamond is Invisalign's highest provider tier, awarded to practices in the top 1% by case volume in the Asia-Pacific region.

OSD has maintained Black Diamond status based on completing 3,500+ cases since 2007.

Provider tier matters because complex cases — bite corrections, extraction avoidance, aesthetic refinements — require pattern recognition that only comes from volume. A provider who has seen thousands of cases is more likely to anticipate how teeth will move and when to adjust the plan.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Treatment planning is thorough.

We show 3D simulations, discuss goals, ensure you understand expected outcomes before starting.

Throughout treatment, we monitor and can adjust. Most concerns are addressed during the active phase through refinements.

Who provides Invisalign treatment at OSD?

Dr. Jerry Lim, Dr. Ronnie Yap, Dr. Kenneth Goh, Dr. Leroy Kiang, Dr. Martin Nguyen, and Dr. Pearlyn Ng provide Invisalign treatment.

With 3,500+ cases completed and Black Diamond status, they plan for facial aesthetics — not just straight teeth — and have needed extraction in less than 1% of cases.
