My story
Watching patients’ confidence transform through a smile motivated me to pursue excellence in my craft.
From a young age, I was fascinated by how aesthetics and function intertwine in dentistry.
Teaching has also been a huge part of my journey — seeing colleagues and students grow professionally is incredibly rewarding.
The best thing about teaching isn't the lecturing — it's watching someone else have the same realisation you had years ago, and knowing they'll take it further than you did.

Beyond Dentistry
I've been doing this for over 25 years. The trick isn't working less — it's making sure the work still feels meaningful. Teaching keeps it fresh.
After 25+ years in dentistry, what keeps me grounded is family — my wife and two adult children who remind me there's life outside the clinic. I'm genuinely interested in nutrition, exercise, and health — partly because I tell patients the same thing, and partly because my back wouldn't survive this job otherwise.
